A video of former prisoners fighting in the AFU has emerged

Soldiers of the Shkval special battalion of the 47th separate mechanised brigade are already proving their effectiveness and motivation on the battlefield in the Pokrovskyy direction. The corresponding video was published by the 47 separate mechanised brigade.

The Shkval battalion consists of citizens who have served their sentences in places of detention. The battalion was formed from volunteers who decided to defend Ukraine.

Earlier, the chief sergeant of the brigade presented armbands to the soldiers of the special battalion "Shkval".

Our recruiting department approached the selection very responsibly, and therefore each of the former prisoners was interviewed. Everyone has the right to make a mistake and at the same time to a second chance. These men are motivated and were eager to fight from day one," the brigade said.

The result on the battlefield always depends on quality training. For two months, the recruits were trained by the best instructors of the 47th UMBR, giving them all their combat experience.

It is noted that the former prisoners serve exclusively in a separate unit of the brigade and do not overlap with mechanised battalions.

Earlier, Socialportal reported that 3,561 convicts had already joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
