Irina Shushura, a police officer from Donetsk Region, is a combat medic. She told about saving the lives of the wounded after Russian shelling.



Video and photos of the combat medic 's work were published by the Interior Ministry.

Irina saved 16 lives. In the past, she was an economist. But for 5 years she has been serving in the police, and after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation she qualified as a combat medic.

At a time when Russia has insidiously attacked Ukraine and is destroying my people, my goal is to save as many lives as possible and be there for the people of Donetsk region. Every saved person is a small victory over the enemy," says Irina.

Risking her life, Iryna Shushura goes to the sites of shelling and rescues the wounded with super-severe injuries.
