Ingredients:

  • 2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts

  • 230 g egg noodles

  • 1 cup cream

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for decoration

Step-by-step recipe:

  1. In a deep frying pan, heat the olive oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and fry on both sides until golden (about 5-7 minutes each). Remove it from the pan.

  2. In the same pan, add garlic, fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and a cup of cream. Stir.

  4. Add the noodles and cook according to package directions, stirring regularly to allow the noodles to absorb the creamy liquid.

  5. When the noodles are soft, add the butter and parmesan and mix thoroughly.

  6. Return the chicken back to the pan, heat for 2-3 minutes.

  7. Garnish the dish with fresh parsley before serving.

How to serve:

This dish goes best with a light vegetable salad or boiled vegetables - broccoli, carrots, peas. Crusty bread will make a great accompaniment, especially for the sauce.

Storage tips:

If there are leftovers, place them in an airtight container - they'll keep fresh for up to three days in the fridge. When reheating, add a little cream or stock to restore the creamy consistency.
