In Volchansk, Kharkiv Region, a Russian drone attacked a police vehicle that was on its way to evacuate civilians. This was reported by the National Police on 21 May.

The policeman was concussed and the service vehicle was badly damaged. Local residents who were waiting for evacuation were taken away from the dangerous area by another police crew.

Fortunately, the policeman is alive, but still concussed. The police car was significantly damaged. The civilians, who were waiting for evacuation, were taken away by another crew of law enforcers, said the head of police in Kharkiv region Volodymyr Timoshko.

He noted that in such conditions police officers work every day, but they are ready to risk their own lives to save people.

He is also directly involved in the evacuation of civilians. The policeman urges people to take care of their lives and agree to move to a safer place.
