Kindergarten guard aimed Russian Federation missiles at Zaporizhzhya

The SBU counterintelligence service has detained an agent of the Russian military intelligence who was correcting Russian missile attacks on Zaporizhzhya. This is reported by the SBU.

It is established that on his tip-off the occupants shelled residential houses in the settlement Stepnogorsk on the eve of 2024. Then as a result of an enemy strike killed a 43-year-old man, many private houses were damaged or completely destroyed, - reported in the special service.

The corrector of the enemy fire turned out to be a guard of a local kindergarten. Last December, the man was remotely recruited by a representative of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

He came to the attention of the Russian special service through his acquaintance - a chorister of the local church of the UOC-MP, who escaped to the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporozhye region, where she works for the special service of the Russian Federation.

The agent collected intelligence on the locations and movements of the Defence Forces in the Zaporizhzhya direction. He was especially interested in the places of the greatest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the AFU.

In addition, he corrected Russian missile strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure in the region.

SBU officers detained the Russian agent in his own home. The detainee was reported on suspicion under part 2 of article 28, part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons). The defendant faces life imprisonment.
