North Korea prepares to hand over more ballistic missiles to Russia

North Korea is preparing to hand over new ballistic missiles to Russia, in addition to more than a hundred already sent, with which Moscow has already attacked Ukrainian cities. This was said at a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York by the US representative for special political affairs, Ambassador Robert Wood.

As noted by the representative of the United States, Pyongyang has already handed over 18,000 containers of ammunition and related materials, as well as more than 100 ballistic missiles to the Russians.

All of them were used for strikes on populated areas such as Kiev and Zaporizhzhya," the US deputy postpresident said.

He specified that the US is particularly aware of the transfer of self-propelled artillery systems of 170 mm calibre, as well as 240 mm multiple rocket launchers to the North by the DPRK.

Russia's receipt of the weapons was in violation of resolutions that were previously adopted by the UN Security Council," Wood stressed.

For this, Russia sent air defence systems, as well as fuel, technology and dual-use equipment to the DPRK.
