Ukraine handed over five seriously wounded prisoners and two Muslims to the Russian side during the exchange.

This was reported by the Coordinating Staff for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

According to the Geneva conventions, the Ukrainian side has repatriated to the territory of the aggressor state five more severely wounded captive occupants, including the only woman who had been held captive in Ukraine," the statement said.

It is noted that before the exchange, the condition of the wounded was stabilized to make them fit for transportation.

In addition, on Ramadan - the holy month for all Muslims - Ukraine handed over two Muslim prisoners of war who had fought as part of the occupation army, the Coordinating Staff added.

This was reportedly in confirmation of the offer to the aggressor state to exchange Muslims "all for all" on both sides as a sign of respect for culture and traditions.

We shall remind you that Ukraine offered Russia to exchange all Muslim prisoners of war. The Russian side rejected it.
