The Russians hit Ukraine's first and only "green school", which was located in the village of Antonovka in the Kherson region.
Yesterday, 16 August, Russian occupants attacked the unique school twice in half a day, causing irreparable damage. This was reported by the head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko.
This educational institution, built with the support of the Government of Finland, operated since 2016 on the basis of school № 21. The school was created in accordance with European energy saving standards and had modern technologies, in particular, an air recovery system, solar panels for heating and the absence of traditional heating systems with pipes and batteries.
on 16 August 2023, the school was attacked twice by the Russian occupiers, resulting in significant damage and complete destruction of this unique institution. Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, confirmed this information, noting that the damage to the school was irreparable.
