Traitors helped the Russian occupiers capture Izyum

The city of Izium in the Kharkiv region on Friday, April 1, was captured by Russian invaders.
This happened because of local traitors and the quantitative advantage of the Russian troops, said the head of the city council department Maxim Strelnik.
The quantitative advantage of the Russian invaders and the treachery of local traitors led to the establishment of temporary enemy control over Izyum on April 1, 2022,” Strelnik wrote on Facebook.
He said that on March 26, local traitors led the invaders to the southern part of Izyum. Because of this, the delivery of humanitarian aid and the evacuation of citizens were blocked. The Russian invaders, taking advantage of this situation, began to seize Izyum.
Given this threat, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out military measures to unblock the city, which could not be publicly reported, given the military secret, Strelnik said.
He expressed confidence that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would soon release Izyum and save the townspeople.
