Prosecutor's office says how many children killed by Russia in Ukraine


Russians killed the most children in Donetsk region.
Juvenile prosecutors have recorded the deaths of 616 children in Ukraine due to full-scale Russian aggression, the Office of the Prosecutor-General has reported on 5 April.
The total number of affected children is 2,479.
As of the morning of 5 April 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 616 children have died and more than 1,863 were injured of varying degrees of severity, the report said.
The largest number of injured children was recorded in Donetsk region (636 dead and injured), Kharkiv region (480), Kherson region (202), Dnipropetrovsk region (226), Kyiv region (136), Zaporizhzhya region (170), Mykolaiv region (118) and Sumy region (115).
We will remind, in the evening of 4 April, the Russians launched a ballistic missile at Krivoy Rog. As a result of the strike killed 18 people, among them 9 children. Another 61 people were injured, of which 12 are children. 40 citizens are in hospitals.
Russian troops hit the centre of a residential neighbourhood. In the epicentre of the impact turned out to be a children's playground.
