In Kherson oblast during the occupation, Russian invaders were about to send twelve-year-old girls into sexual slavery in the Urals.

Yuriy Fedorenko, head of the NGO Agency for the Development of Democracy and Information Freedoms, said this on ISLND TV.

The speaker noted that the Ukrainian special services received information about the place where children were kept by the occupants on the eve of Kherson's dismissal. The special services went behind enemy lines and fired the children, destroying the kidnappers.

According to Fedorenko, the children freed from captivity could not believe they had been returned home for a long time yet.

They (the girls) could not believe that they were no longer on Russian soil, that they were no longer in captivity, that they could smile again, that they would not be beaten. And tell you about the most striking thing there, perhaps, is that when you walk into a room and they are frightened, they kneel down," he said.

Former Children's Rights Ombudsman Nikolai Kuleba said that such practices are regularly used by the occupants. Children who have been freed from captivity tell about sexual abuse by the Russian invaders. All these crimes are documented.
