Raids are conducted throughout Ukraine to check the state of radiation safety.

This is due to constant threats and provocations by the Kremlin to use a "dirty" bomb, the Security Service of Ukraine has said.

Large-scale raids are being carried out by the Security Service's counterintelligence service together with other representatives of the Defence Forces.

Hundreds of places of mass gathering of people and critical infrastructure facilities have been checked during the week. In addition, the vehicles by which Russian saboteurs could transport radioactive materials have been inspected.

The SBU stressed that special attention during the inspections was paid to monitoring checkpoints in frontline and de-occupied areas, border crossing points, etc.

As a result of comprehensive inspections, no dangerous radioactive materials were found," the SBU said.

Also during the raids, law enforcers practised general action algorithms and mechanisms for prompt response to nuclear threats from the aggressor.
