Scholz arrives in US to discuss aid to Ukraine
Politicians will discuss further assistance to Ukraine.

According to official reports, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has already arrived in Washington to hold talks with US President Joe Biden on a full-scale war in Ukraine, as well as on transatlantic relations and the threat from China.
Washington expects the politicians to reconcile their assessments of developments on the battlefield in Ukraine.
Both leaders wanted this to be a working level meeting, they wanted it to be very in-depth, focusing on Ukraine issues.
Also on the day of Scholz's visit, Washington is expected to announce a new military aid package to Kiev - to the tune of $400 million, according to Reuters.
