This week, Russian troops attempted to break through the defences of the AFU in the north of Kharkiv Oblast.
In one of the areas on the front in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy has partial success. This was reported by the commander-in-chief of the AFU Oleksandr Syrskyy in Telegram.
As pointed out by the commander-in-chief, on Kupyansk, Seversk, Limansk, Pokrovsk directions continue hot battles, the situation is very dynamically changing.
In some areas the enemy has partial success, in other areas the Defence Forces are displacing the enemy and improving their tactical position," Syrskyy said.
The enemy does not abandon attempts to advance to Chasovoye Yar in the Kramatorsk direction, Syrsky pointed out. According to him, the Russians continue offensive actions to the east of the city. In addition, the occupiers are trying to restore the lost position in the area of Kleshchyivka near Bakhmut. At the same time, the Ukrainian forces are holding back the enemy.
The units of the Defence Forces are engaged in tough defensive battles, the attempts of the Russian occupants to break through our defence have been stopped. Our reconnaissance, artillery, unmanned systems units are working. We know the enemy's plans and react flexibly to all his actions. All necessary measures and operational measures, including personnel measures, are taken to strengthen the defence," he wrote.
