At least 452 children killed during Russian aggression

As of 1 January 2023, 452 children had died in Ukraine because of Russian aggression.



More than 876 were injured with varying degrees of severity. Another 352 children are reported missing.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

These figures are not final, as work is under way to identify them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories," the report said.

The most affected children were in Donetsk Oblast - 429, Kharkiv Oblast - 268, Kyiv Oblast - 117, Mykolayiv Oblast - 81, Zaporizhia Oblast - 81, Kherson Oblast - 81, Chernihiv Oblast - 68, Luhansk Oblast - 65, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - 40.

During the recording of crimes committed by Kafirs in Kherson region, the deaths of two boys aged 13 and 17 have been established.

on 31 December, a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of an enemy rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia.

on 31 December two children aged 12 and 13 were injured due to shelling of Kherson.

on 30 December, a 13-year-old girl was wounded as a result of artillery shelling by Russian troops in the village of Dalnee, Donetsk region.

Due to bombing and shelling by the Russian armed forces, 3126 educational institutions were damaged. 337 of them were completely destroyed.
