Training of Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 was shown by Zelenskiy

Ukrainian pilots master US F-16 fighter jets in Denmark. The video of the training was shown by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on 23 February.

All Ukrainians are waiting for the day when the first Ukrainian F-16s will appear in our skies, when they will strengthen the protection of our cities and communities and the capabilities of our Ukrainian Defence Forces," Zelenskyy wrote.

He emphasised that while our pilots and personnel continue their training, he is grateful to the F-16 coalition that is bringing that day closer.

One of the Ukrainian pilots with the call sign "Moonfish" said that the Ukrainian combat experience is really hard to overestimate, but it is still a very compressed programme," and the biggest incentive is the motivation to return to Ukraine and continue fighting.

He says that the F-16 is a super-class aircraft from a pilot's point of view and that these fighters are more manoeuvrable than the Soviet MIGs.
