Blow on Chernihiv: five dead reported

Russian invaders have launched a missile attack on Chernihiv city centre this morning. It is known about 42 casualties. It is also reported that there are dead. About it told the Minister of internal Affairs Igor Klimenko in Telegram-channel.

As Klimenko writes, as of 13.00 it is known that:

• terrorists hit the Dramtheatre in Chernihiv;
• 42 injured as a result of the Russian strike;
• 5 people were killed;
• 11 children among the victims.

At present, everyone is being provided with medical assistance.

People were coming from the church with baskets of consecrated apples..., - wrote the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs Klymenko.

The impact damaged the roof of the Drama Theatre and started a fire.

Explosions were heard in Chernihiv on 19 August after an air alert was announced. According to preliminary information, the enemy attacked the city with a ballistic missile.

At the moment, Chernihiv city centre is partially blocked and people are being evacuated there.

The Air Force warned that in Chernihiv Region, apart from the missile attack, there is also a threat of the enemy using attack UAVs.
