UEFA cancels admission of Russian youth teams - journalist

The UEFA Executive Committee has cancelled the decision on the admission of Russian youth teams to international tournaments.
UEFA refused to return the Russian U-17 national teams to tournaments. This was reported by Sky Sports journalist Rob Harris in social network X.
According to the journalist, UEFA decided that "a technical solution to allow Russian teams to play, could not be found".
Earlier, on 28 September, UEFA decided to allow Russian footballers under 17 to participate in competitions because "children should not suffer for the mistakes of adults over whom they have no influence".
After that, more than 10 European associations said they would not play with the Russians, regardless of their age.
