It is planned that grain from the Ukrainian territory will be exported through the ports of Odessa, Yuzhny and Chernomorsk.

This decision was announced by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Rustem Umerov, who is a member of the negotiating group representing Ukraine in Istanbul, where, with the mediation of the UN between Russia, Ukraine and Turkey, negotiations continue on the safe transportation of grain across the Black Sea.

The MP said that safe routes for the export of grain were developed by the military, and compliance with safety rules will be monitored by a monitoring group located in Istanbul under the auspices of the UN. At the same time, Umerov separately emphasized that Russian ships would not be able to check Ukrainian grain carriers.

Along these corridors, we have developed a mechanism where there will be no control of these vessels at sea. Only the monitoring group will work with its mandate, and they will only check that there are no weapons in these courts,” Umerov said.

Turkish President Erdogan recently said that a memorandum on the safe export of Ukrainian grain could be signed as early as this week.
