Germany imprisons Russian who was preparing a political assassination

A Russian citizen in Munich was preparing a contract killing on a Chechen opposition activist.

It is noted that the convict was preparing the murder of the oppositionist at the request of the leadership of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. The man named Valid D. was sentenced to ten years in prison.
It is known that the convict lived in exile in Germany.
According to the prosecution, the suspect received orders from Chechen security forces. According to the court's version, the sentence was passed for the statement of readiness for murder and preparation for a grave, state-dangerous act of violence," the report said.
According to the prosecutor's office, after the trial began, the man obtained firearms and ammunition. After which he instructed another suspect to commit the crime. However, the murder was prevented.
