In Izmail, IDPs from Nikolaev were beaten and robbed


The suspects embezzled money and valuables totaling almost 750,000 hryvnias.
Four residents of the Odessa region attacked migrants from Nikolaev, beat and robbed them. This was reported in the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, in Izmail, four men attacked two IDPs from Nikolaev, who were in a car parked on one of the streets of the city. Threatening the victims with firearms, they pulled them out of the car, threw them to the ground and started beating them with their rifle butts and kicking them, demanding to give them money and valuables, the law enforcers said.
The suspects appropriated money and valuables totaling almost 750,000 hryvnia, as well as a car, in which they fled the scene of the crime.
The accused are in custody.
Prosecutors sent an indictment to the court. The men are charged with robbery committed under martial law, illegal possession of a vehicle and illegal handling of firearms.
