For the first time in 28 years: Pink Floyd released a song in support of Ukraine (video)

The British world-famous band Pink Floyd released the track Hey Hey Rise in support of Ukraine, which features the vocals of Boombox soloist Andriy Khlivnyuk.
For the first time in 28 years, the legendary band gathered all the musicians to support the Ukrainians.
The composition features the vocals of Andrey Khlivnyuk, the soloist of the "Boombox" group, on Sofiyivska Square, where he sings "Oh, there's a red viburnum in the blue." Pink Floyd accompany his singing with instrumental music.
We, like many, feel fury and disappointment at this vile act of invading an independent, peaceful democratic country, and killing its people of one of the world's largest states, commented David Gilmour, whose daughter-in-law and grandchildren are in Ukraine.
All proceeds from the sale of the composition will be sent to humanitarian aid to Ukrainians.
I hope that it will receive wide support and publicity. We want to raise funds. We want to demonstrate our support for Ukraine and thus show that the majority of the world considers it completely wrong for a state to invade the territory of an independent democratic country that Ukraine has become, - Gilmore said.
