Wounded elderly spouses were evacuated from frontline Krasnogorovka

The White Angel police group evacuated injured elderly spouses from frontline Krasnogorovka in Donetsk Region. This was reported by the National Police on 24 June.

As a result of Russian shelling of Krasnogorovka, a 72-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife received shrapnel wounds. The woman lost a lot of blood and was in serious condition.

The spouses were in their own yard when shrapnel from Russian shells flew at them. Kurakhovo police chief Artem Shchus and criminalist and paramedic Vasyl Pipa immediately arrived at the scene to rescue the people.

They are part of the police group "White Angel", which works in the Maryinka direction.

The woman suffered an open traumatic fracture of her arm, multiple shrapnel wounds and lost fingers on one hand. The man's legs were wounded by shrapnel.

Police officers provided the spouses with first aid and quickly transported them to the hospital.
